Mental Health Support
In response to the trauma following October 7, Shaare Zedek’s new Mental Health Center offers comprehensive services, individual and group therapy, PTSD counseling, psychotherapy, and trauma-focused care. Our dedicated team is here to support survivors and their loved ones, displaced and grieving families from the north and south, those with relatives on the frontlines, and any civilian coping with ongoing stress and uncertainty.

Israel’s Largest and Most Advanced NICU
The Huberfeld Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem is Israel’s largest and most advanced NICU. Each year, over 22,000 babies are born at Shaare Zedek, an average of 60 per day, with approximately 5% requiring specialized intensive care that only the NICU can provide. This remarkable birth rate surpasses that of any other hospital in the Western world.
