Helmsley Cancer Center

Opened in November 2022, the Helmsley Cancer Center is Israel's first comprehensive oncology facility, spanning over 12,000 square meters. It houses a Radiology Institute, Innovative Research Unit, Palliative Care, and Oncology Treatment Sub-Units, including a state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Institute. Designed by Canadian-based Farrow Partners and Jerusalem-based Rubinstein-Ofer Architects, the center emphasizes patient-centered care with natural light-infused spaces. It has garnered international architectural awards and is poised to become a Jerusalem landmark.

Jesselson Heart Center

Established in 1994, the Jesselson Heart Center addresses the need for advanced cardiac care in Israel. It offers comprehensive services, including open-heart surgery, catheterizations, and valve repairs. The center performs approximately 2,700 heart catheterizations annually, with 50% being interventional angioplasties with stent implantation. Outpatient clinics provide diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and preventative counseling to over 12,000 patients each year.

Huberfeld Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Shaare Zedek's Huberfeld NICU is Israel's largest and most advanced, caring for over 1,000 high-risk infants annually. Located within the Huberfeld Family Birthing Center, the NICU is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including the world's only MRI machine designed specifically for preemies and infants. The facility supports over 22,000 births each year, the highest number in the Western world, and offers services like IVF, PGD, and high-risk pregnancy treatments.

Emergency Medicine (ER)

Shaare Zedek operates one of Israel's busiest emergency departments, renowned for its rapid and effective treatment. The ER includes specialized units for pediatric and adult care, with a focus on disaster and emergency response. Staff members are trained in mass casualty incidents and are often deployed internationally for humanitarian missions.

Mental Health Resilience Center

Recognizing the growing need for mental health care, Shaare Zedek has expanded its services to include the Mental Health Resilience Center, offering comprehensive psychiatric support. The center provides counseling, diagnosis, and treatment for various psychological conditions, including PTSD and trauma-related disorders. In collaboration with the Jerusalem Foundation, the facility aims to address mental health challenges with compassion and expertise.
